Today I got my assessment tasks and about the composition to be played exactly next week. I also seen the woodwind class played their song. I need to complete the Music Developmental Workbook by tomorrow.

Theory Class :

Today we rehearsed our song to be played on December, in front of the parents and students. We also reviewed about the scales, and Mr. Herry told us that we needed to update our reflection blog.

Instrument Class :

Today I practiced my song to be played on December, which I think is too “Crowded” and needs improvement. I also watched my friends played theirs and I think it is good.

Theory Class :

Today I have a small quiz, I got 10/11 because I misunderstand the question about scales. I  also reviewed about minor scales. I also need to practice my composition to be rehearsed tomorrow.

Instrument Class

Today I rehearsed my song, with some feedback on the left hand and at the ending to be rehearsed tomorrow.

Theory Class :

Today we reviewed about the minor scale from a particular scale. For example A minor from G major. I also watched some of my friends play their AA’BA’ composition.

Instrument Class :

Today I rehearsed my AA’BA’ composition to be played on December, I need to practice it more because I played wrong on some parts.

Theory Class :

Today we learned about chord progressions. I also made a quick draft from the song which is played by Mr.Herry. I need to play my AA’BA’ composition by next week.

Instrument Class :

I watched Sarah, Calista, and Astri play their songs, and all of them have their positive and negative sides. I scored 8 for Sarah and Calista, while I scored 9 for Astri.

Today I learned about all of the major chords and it’s relations with other notes. I also submitted my final draft to the teacher, Mr. Herry.

Today I watched my friends play their composition but unfortunately I haven’t have time to rehearse. I also copied my soft copy.

Theory Class :

Today I watched Ihsan and Samuel Kevin sang their Indonesia Pusaka. I also needed to finish my final finale composition by tomorrow.

Today I found some minor mistakes in my song and I’ll edit it to be more interesting as the due date is tomorrow.

Theory Class :

Today I sang Indonesia Pusaka with Ditho and watched the others sang theirs.I only made one error at the end of the performance where I should sang Fa other than Do.

Today I copied my Finale 2009 from Mr. Herry to my USB, I need to complete my song by next week.

Today I copied my song to the given paper as the final draft. I also rehearsed the song I need to sing tomorrow, Indonesia Pusaka.

Today I only rehearsed about the song in the first and second song voice. I need to communicate with my partner about this.

Today I found the correct pitch of “Indonesia Pusaka” to be sang with my partner, Ditho. Mr. Herry aso reviewed my song and he said I need to improve it in some parts.

Today, I expand my first 4 bars of my composition into 8 bars which need to be completed by tomorrow. I also need to complete my survey for next week.

I played a quarter of my song. I needed to make the A’ so it wont be monotone and to be interesting. I need to complete this by tomorrow

Nocturne #2

This is the moment I played nocturne the day before the Binus Music Fiesta. I have played tis quite well and fixing minor problems I have on the previous one from my teacher and her friend. I need to fasten the tempo on some parts and pay attention more to the pedalq

Fur Elise

This is the first known song I've learned. Because of the habit of playing this song sometimes, I can play it quite well but I have some mistakes in the tempo and the beat, especially the fast part. I have to practice more to get the best results for this song.

Venetian Boat Song

This is actually a song played by my friend Sarah as the assessment on music. I found the song nice and interesting so I searched the song and I played it. I experienced a few errors, and most of it are probably caused by lack of practice. To make it better, I need to practice more

Composing Song

This is the song I've composed and played. I used the accompaniment from the one Hr. Herry taught me. I think I've done well except a few mistakes.

Today Mr. Herry have showed me about how to play the non-childish accompaniment and I've been practicing it with no mistakes, the orders are I VI IV II V I

Moonlight Sonata

Here is the song I played called Moonlight Sonata. I haven't played this song again since around 2 years, so I forgot the ending.. The tempo needs to be stabilized more because as the song goes the tempo gets faster.

Maiden's Prayer

This is me practicing the song called Maiden's Prayer by Tekla Badarzewska. This song includes a lot of fast-finger movement, which I'm still not fluent at. So, I have to practice this song again and again to fluent this, because it is a nice song.

Parallel and Contrary

Today I've learned about parallel and contrary scales, which are just and ordinary scales at first, then separates using contrary, back again, and return to the normal scales. The problem I face here is about the correct fingers along with the black tooth because I'm still not used to it

Dominant 7th, Major 7th, and Minor 7th

Here is the video of me practicing the Dominant 7th, Major 7th, and Minor 7th. The thing that I need to practice more is about the consistency of the plays. Sometimes I played too fast and sometimes too slow.

Today I watched some of my other friends rehearsed their songs, which are Calista on Piano, Dzaka on Violin (he still needs much learning), Dio on Guitar, and Ihsan on Woodwind. Today we have an early instrument class so there's nothing much to be done in the theory besides the rehearsing. The highlight for me today is that I got 50/50 in the quiz, which leave my feeling happy
Instrument : Today somehow I played better than yesterday even though I haven't practiced. My expression and tempo is still not stable and there are some parts which are not fluent at all (Mr. Herry offers me a way out by slowing them like express them further). Next week is the due date for the assessment, so I need to practice overtime for my song, which is not really fluent.

Today I reviewed about Major 7th, Dominant, and it's inversions on G,D, and A major. I also watched Sarah, Michelle, Cindy, and Boy rehearse their songs. Which so far they're very good. The report of classical music that I have brought is too simple and needs to be more explanation with pictures. So I decided I'll give it tomorrow.
Instrument : Today I played Nocturne with a lot of mistakes. I need to practice it more, especially the clarity, tempo, pedal, and the expression which is still rigid. Seeing some of my friends play in piano with fluency, I feel less confidence and intimidated. But I will practice much harder so I can get top marks.

Today I have done my 7th chord test. I can do it pretty well and I'm expecting high marks for it. With this I can practice my knowledge about major 7th, dominant 7th, and the scales on C, D, E, F, G, and Bflat major. I also need to write an essay on the classical music with a minimum of 500 words.
Instrument : Today I rehearsed my song, Nocturne in Eflat by Chopin. I just didn't find it hard until I have to play it in front of my friends. Surely the pressure is much lighter when I play in my house and in my course. I still have much to learn, especially the volume of my overdominant right hand, use of pedal and the expression. So far I played like a robot which was never used for years :|

Today I watched some of my friends demonstrate what they will play for their performance. I also have done the scales and their inversions. I also need to practice my western music classical music, which happens to be Nocturne. Even though Mr.Herry did show me some of his collections in classical music I still prefer nocturne.

Today I learned about the 7th chord in C major and it's inversions which is used in many pop and jazz genres of music. We will also need to hind out songs for our western classical music performance which is assessed on the 27-28th of September. One of the songs that popped into my mind are Nocturne in E flat by Chopin, Rondo Alla Turca by Mozart, and Maiden's Prayer.
Instrument : Today I learned and rehearsed about the inversions on the 7th chord. The songs that I've been thinking should be verified by the next meeting.

Today, on instrument class I practiced again the major 7th, minor 7th, diminished 7th, half-diminished and others. Mr. Herry didn't come today due to his workshop, so the vocal teacher replaced him.

A day before independence day. Today I watched some of my friends do their presentation about western music genres. I need to do research more, because Mr. Herry will ask deep questions from the subject. The most important thing today is that we as the whole music students need to sing for the 18 August, 2 songs which are 17 Agustus, and Berkibarlah Benderaku. We even extend our music lesson 20 minutes of our time. I need to memorize Berkibarlah Benderaku, because I haven't heard of that song before.

Today I sing my song, Dear God with piano accompaniment. I have to improve myself not to be nervous because truthfully, my legs are shaking so much that I pressed the pedal inconsistently -_-. And from the feedback of my friends, I need to sing louder because most of my friends in the edge can't hear my voice. I also have to do research on classical music to do the presentation. Today, I also made my group, consising of Me (as captain), Boy, Dzaka, Anti, and Jesslyn

Today I watched more of my friends sing and play music in front of the audience. I have to practice my song better because tomorrow, I'll be the first to sing..
Instrument : Today, I practiced the dominant 7th as always with more complex forms. I need to practice the diminished and the half-diminished for tomorrow

Today I saw my friends sing their song that they have prepared. Some are very humourous, smoe are great, and some are not really good, the articulation and the pitch is not the same as supposed to. What I've learnt is that I have to be more confident because I feel that I'm not really confident with my song.
Instrument : Today I practiced normal and parallel scales,  dominant 7th, major 7th, and minor 7th. I need to practice my left hand more especially on the fingers because I feel they are not really good.

Today, I gave the name of the song that I will sing for the assessment next week. I also learnt about the dominant 7th that consists of Major 7th, Dominant 7th, and Minor 7th.
Instrument : Today I learned the normal combined with parralel scale on C major. I need to practice more because my fingers are still stiff and need to be practiced more so I can play fluently next time
